In a monument to “free-thinking”, they are using a picture straight out of Genesis, affirming the creation story and pointing to the reality that sin leads to death. I could (a) make fun of them for this or (b) simply sit back and enjoy the fact that they’ve inadvertently preached a pretty good sermon against their own point of view and paid for it to be put into the state capitol building.
I guess I don’t have to choose, do I? Well done, Illinois “satanists”, and I pray you listen well to the sermon you’ve presented.
