"I have yet to hear or read anyone refer to her unborn child as the 'royal fetus'”
One who doesn’t support the right of the unborn to live might argue that it is a potential baby, but it should be noted that the headline does not read “royal potential baby” either.

Is the use of the term “fetus” anti-life?
Generally, the use of clinical terms is viewed as cold and unfeeling. ‘Fetus’ may not be anti-life per se, but it sounds terrible. Do preachers refer to the dead body at a funeral as a corpse or cadaver? Why not?
It’s all about intent. If the royal mother decided to kill her child in the womb, then it would no longer qualify for babyhood. It is the ultimate expression of existentialism, because her choice determines reality.
