Bolz-Weber’s liberal, foulmouthed articulation of Christianity speaks to fed-up believers

Is her congregation ‘fed up believers’? Or are they unregenerate people who aren’t really believers and are there for a show?
It seems to me that a lot of the grunge-diving Christians are more into the grunge and rebellion than they are Christ.

Considering her past, do you (anyone) believe that she is truly a Believer (a very immature believer) and that the Spirit is moving (sanctifying) her in the right direction? (Please forgive my lack of theological precision with the question.)
*Obviously, one indicator in the future that she is indeed “moving in the right direction” is that she would step down from her pulpit. *
If so, what should our response be to her? Prayer? Shouting her down? Both? Something else?
These questions aren’t abstract for me. This article has been showing up on my Facebook newsfeed. This morning, in fact, I received an email containing this article; the friend who sent it to me expressed a begrudging and growing admiration for her, and wanted to know my opinion.
“[Nadia Bolz-Weber] She’s a tatted-up, foul-mouthed champion to people sick of being belittled as not Christian enough for the right or too Jesus-y for the left.”
I don’t understand how any believer could be fooled by such a person. Personally, I have never heard of her, but I have heard of those who do what she does: move Christianity another step closer to being no different than the world we are supposed to change.
Those of us who have studied scripture shouldn’t be surprised by any of this…
II Timothy 4
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Long ago we were all forewarned.
Its one thing for people to follow a leader who is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. But in our society it seems we have an increasing number of leaders/pastors more accurately described as a wolf in wolf’s clothing, yet they get a following willing to call them a sheep.
