I’m not sure if I agree with this sentiment.

  • Firstly it is legal in some US Sates. And it is legal is other countries … I believe Canada (Don Johnson perhaps you can verify this)
  • I don’t see at all how it restricts freedom of thought (what is this some kind of mind control?!)
  • Freedom of speech in the US: I don’t see this either.

What I could see:

  • Along the way some linkage between 501(c)(3) recognition and acceptance of gay marriage
  • If that happens churches would have a choice … keep the benefits of 501(c)(3) AND accept gay marriage OR lose 501(c)(3)
