NewOne of the secular writers

One of the secular writers quoted said that, for parents, “The best defense is a good offense.”
Should we be surprised by this ?
God has given us as parents and parent role models the privilege and responsibility to influence and help guide the younger generation. The way sin seeks to allure young people may change its packaging, but God’s standard of marriage and purity still stands.

NewGod's Guidelines

When we think about the extreme restrictiveness of God’s commands regarding sexual expression, that marriage is the only proper context, we must also remember I John 5, that “God’s commands are not grevious.” God gives us these restrictions because He designed us, and He knows what is best for us. Even secular authors recognize that sex is not a merely physical activity, but that it is intimately connected to the rest of our being.
Remember that the New Testament was written in a time when the Roman Empire was morally and ethically corrupt. God’s standards were meaningful and authoritative in that time, and they are so in our times also.

Hmm, the editor must have been on vacation.
