Not defending the author on every point, especially his rant about comic book characters, but he illustrates (whether entirely intentional or not) that the Bible should not be used to defend or attack any political ideology. Despite many Christians’ views to the contrary, the Bible, especially the New Testament, does not have much to say about politics.
