I haven’t noticed this, but I’ve always attended fundamentalist, conservative churches. What have you guys seen?

He’s getting at what the Babylon Bee mocks as “moral therapeutic deism”. On the fundamental side, you’ll see hints of it wherever people take the adage “I don’t drink and I don’t chew, and I don’t go with girls who do” seriously.
