Wayne Grudem: “There is no morally good presidential candidate in this election”
Exactly what rock was Grudem hiding under if he previously didn’t know this about Trump? He wrote about it in “The Art of the Deal”, it’s well documented that his divorces weren’t for “irreconciliable differences”, and the guy owns both strip clubs and casinos. To be surprised about this video—clutching pearls and begging to be carried to the fainting couch—really is to concede that your shadow doesn’t fall across a newspaper very often, to put it mildly.
Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
Ah, Mr. Grudem … you have made a fool of yourself.
Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.
Nuff said.
Oh, and Jim, your nobody 3rd and 5th party choices aren’t relevant. Hillary or Trump. Go. A no vote is still a vote.
[Mark_Smith] Oh, and Jim, your nobody 3rd and 5th party choices aren’t relevant. Hillary or Trump. Go. A no vote is still a vote.
I don’t expect Evan McMullin to win. (I voted by absentee for him)
In defense of my vote (not that I need to answer to anyone but God about this):
- I don’t believe Trump is qualified
- I have never believed him qualified
- I don’t think he is a true Republican
- I don’t agree with his trade position
- I don’t agree in building a wall
- I find him a vulgar man - this is not a new (as in last Friday’s revelation) view. He’s written a book and he’s been on the Howard Stern show (of which I am not a lister!). But the Stern revelations are not new.
- I think he is mentally unstable
- All in all Hillary (gag!!!) would be a better president
- I took the #NeverTrump pledge back in February. I was right about him then
- In August of 2015 I stated Donald Trump “is a counterfeit Republican and no conservative”
Summary: If I died on November 9th, (and I have cancer so I understand fully the concept of “numbering my days!”) I would not be comfortable standing before the Lord and answering for a Trump vote.
You could counter that Bill Clinton did thus and so. Yup got that! Didn’t vote for him either time. And Hillary has done thus and so: Email, Benghazi, coverups, et cetera. Yup to that too! Didn’t vote for her either!
Finally: Realistically in Minnesota the down ballot is more important. I have a relative in Texas who voted for Clinton. Trump will win Texas. The last time Minnesota went for the GOP was probably before you were born (1972). On the down ballot - I not only voted but I have supported them financially.
Latest polls in Minnesota . I predict that Clinton wins by at least 6%.
“The comments Mr. Trump made 11 years ago were deplorable and I condemn them entirely,” [James Dobson] said.
“I also find Hillary Clinton’s support of partial birth abortion criminal and her opinion of evangelicals to be bigoted.
There really is only one difference between the two.
Mr. Trump promises to support religious liberty and the dignity of the unborn.
Mrs. Clinton promises she will not.”

….is really going to depend on whether God grants the winner days to implement his or her agenda, and whether the Senate votes to remove them when they get out of line. Note; when, not if.
Trump’s case; he appears healthier, but the Senate is more likely to remove him for crimes.
Hilliary’s case: she’s almost guaranteed 34 “no” votes in the Senate vote to remove her from office, but she’s not as healthy.
Flip a coin and choose your poison.
Am praying for repentance by both of them, as well as Mr. Kaine and the legion of “evangelicals” who came out to support Mr. Drumpf before he’d won the delegates. If I were a trustee at Liberty, or at the 700 Club, or Focus, I’d be considering some very tough conversations with prominent individuals at the head. Again, evangelicalism doesn’t come out smelling very good with nonsense like this.
Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
I wouldn’t trust Trump to appoint conservative Supreme Court Justices than I would trust King Ahab to keep me safe from the Assyrians.

Rumor has it there’s more coming out about Trump, and perhaps even worse than what we’ve heard so far.
Clinton’s already got this thing sewed up, in fact, probably a landslide.

James MacDonald quits faith council over Trump’s ‘misogynistic trash.
One of the most notable reactions to Trump’s lewd comments came from Harvest Bible Chapel pastor James MacDonald, who quit Trump’s evangelical advisory council [membership did not equal endorsement] over the candidate’s “misogynistic trash that reveals a man to be lecherous and worthless,” according to email excerpts published with MacDonald’s permission by CT blogger Ed Stetzer.
“I cannot and will not offer help to a man who believes this kind of talk a minor error,” wrote MacDonald, later noting, “No more defending Mr. Trump as simply foolish or loose lipped.”
To repeat what I noted about Grudem:
Exactly what rock was Grudem MacDonald hiding under if he previously didn’t know this about Trump? He wrote about it in “The Art of the Deal”, it’s well documented that his divorces weren’t for “irreconciliable differences”, and the guy owns both strip clubs and casinos. To be surprised about this video—clutching pearls and begging to be carried to the fainting couch—really is to concede that your shadow doesn’t fall across a newspaper very often, to put it mildly.
Spare me the pious sounding….nonsense here. MacDonald simply loves to hobnob with “big people”, which is why he greeted modalist heretic T.D. Jakes as a brother, and even attended Jakes 35th anniversary in ministry party. Now that it’s clear to even the brain dead that Trump is a sleazebag—he’s in good company with his friends the Clintons—MacDonald wants out. It would hurt church attendance and revenues.
Moody and Harvest need to lay down the law for this employee. Same thing with Dobson, Falwell, and a bunch of other useful idiots prominent faith leaders who endorsed this clown while it could still be stopped.
The more I see of this, the more I wonder if it was intentional—Drumpf did meet with Bubba before declaring his candidacy. Dirty trick that could make Watergate pale in comparison.

“Rather we are voting for Trump because we think the next generation will be much better off without a Leftist Supreme Court. We also think the protection of America’s borders are at stake. We also think the unborn deserve better than Hillary Rodham Clinton, and that even a known womanizer like Trump will be kinder to the unborn than a Leftist Democrat like Clinton. We also think our military personnel and their families will have grander support if Donald Trump is elected. We further believe small businesses will flourish under a Trump presidency more than a Clinton White House. We believe Immigration Reform most likely will happen under Trump not Clinton. We believe Health Care will get a fresh start under Trump but will only worsen under Clinton. We believe the 2nd Amendment will all but vanish under a Clinton administration.
I publicly detest the known vices of Donald Trump, vices which make it very hard to support him as president of the United States.
Better men than Trump were unfortunately eliminated in the primaries.
Rather than voting for Trump because he’s the best man for the job as president, I will vote for Trump because, given the only viable alternatives we possess, he’s the only man for the job.”

While you are fretting over whether Trump will appoint conservative judges, I can assure you Hillary WILL appoint liberal judges who will oppose everything it appears you believe in.
https://world.wng.org/2016/10/unfit_for_power
In suggesting that Trump drop out and let someone else carry the campaign for the remaining weeks, we at WORLD are not endorsing any other Republican and certainly not Hillary Clinton. We also realize Trump is unlikely to heed our call. We’re aware of the practical difficulties in making a change at this point.
