"The biggest elephant in the room on that day was the failure to fear God, the failure to speak with conviction when His Word is so clear"

Noble suggested that it is hypocrisy to use a movie clip as an illustration , but then not to allow “Highway to Hell” to be performed by your band as an illustration. Therein lies the solution.

One could quote the lyrics from “Highway to Hell” as an illustration that many in the world hear of the judgment of God, and then mock. This would be very appropriate. One could point out the depths of depravity that some movies contain while preaching a sermon on sexual purity. If done correctly, this could also be appropriate.

However, Noble took the extra step of having his band perform the song. They sang the blasphemy. This is sin, just as it would be sin to play (or even allowing your band members to perform) the pornographic movie clip in order to better illustrate its depravity.
