NewOnce in a while they get something right

I am definitely with the Main Street Church and (gulp) the ACLU on this one. If a powerful entity has the power to take away free speech or peaceful assembly on a public sidewalk because they don’t appreciate their views, then what point is there of having these rights written down somewhere? From the way I read this story, the ACLU’s concern is not so much the conflict between the churches but the city’s “free speech zone” ordinance. Unjust laws of this type should be of concern to anyone interested in public demonstrations of faith.

No wisdom, no understanding, and no counsel will prevail against the LORD. Proverbs 21:30
