Transgender directive challenged by 10 more states
“Ten more states have signed on to sue the Obama administration over its transgender directive that forces schools to allow students to use restrooms and locker rooms that correspond to their perceived gender identity rather than their biological sex.” BPNews
….to see how the courts process this. The lawsuit at this point appears to be mostly about the legality of HOW the regulation was put forth, but I wonder if the stronger legal argument is the burdens it would impose on school districts and the risks it imposes on children—again, the example of someone who is, or should be, on Megan’s List using this law for decidedly non-bathroom or non-locker room purposes.
