Elsewhere in Germany, Heidelberg was their first university (complete with theology instruction) in 1386, and here's a list of other early European universities. There are great reasons to debate where theological instruction ought to occur--university, seminary, church, etc..--but this article does the debate no favors by ignoring a huge factor in theological training.
