Trump Continues to Profit From $99.99 Presidential Bibles Online, Donates Personal Bible to Museum of the Bible
“I’m delighted to announce that just moments ago, I personally delivered the Trump family Bible, given to me by my mother—I remember the time she gave it to me—but was used in both my inaugurations and…will now be displayed right at the heart of our nation’s capital.” - C.Leaders
I hope all of those Christians in our churches that voted for Trump are reconsidering their thought process. But I am most likely too optimistic. They will instead sugar coat this as, "Trump has done more to get Bibles in the hands of people than any other president."
He’s cashing in on everything he can.
“But what does it profit a man if… ?”
Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.
...does it profit a man if he have a Bible and does not read it? If I were at MOTB, I'd gently hand it back and suggest he read it.
Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

Sorry. I know absolutely no one in any of the churches I have been in since 2016 that voted for Trump because of how great a Christian he was, or because he had his own Bible.
I knew full well that he was a brash, unpolished, self-promoting, rough spoken NY entrepreneur, more like Samson or Muhammad Ali than like David or Reagan (though David had even more wives than Trump). I wanted someone to go and fight the Philistines, and that’s what I voted for (and mostly got). Has he made all great decisions? Of course not. Some make me cringe. But if you think I regret my 3 general election votes, especially given the opponents he was up against, simply because he more resembles someone from the WWE than a great Christian, think again.
But we’ve been over this territory before. It’s you who are sorry he got in, not most of the rest of us.
Would I prefer that he find his way to Christ and become a true Christian? You bet, and when I (biblically) pray for the leaders of this country, I also pray for their salvation. Maybe like Festus and Felix, it won’t happen, but that’s not up to me.
