Should the U.S. directly assist Israel’s destruction of Iran’s nuclear weapons program?

It strikes me that the key question is whether we can shut down Iran's nuclear program by hitting Fordow without causing huge side effects, and one thing that is sadly missing in Trump's diplomatic rhetoric is to point out that, with typical accuracy of hitting "within a country mile", every launch of an Iranian ballistic missile that's directed at a target smaller than an airfield amounts to a war crime, because you're far more likely to hit civilian targets.

Being a man of a certain age, and remembering Reagan's rhetoric well, that seems to be the key issue at hand. Russia supports Iran, and is thus the world's #1 supporter of terrorism, and we need to start calling them out for that and acting appropriately. Yes, as Putin shows, the KGB/FSB/Bolshevik true believers have staying power and a long term time preference, but Reagan shut them down once, and I believe that if we start speaking clearly, we can do it again.
