It’s OK. I’m sure he’ll be fired shortly. And as we all know, problems go away when you fire the person who is talking about them.

I don't believe Trump has the authority to fire them, thankfully. While I don't always agree with Catholic social teaching, I appreciate what Schneck says.

One thing I would add is that when Trump doesn't seem to see religious freedom in Russia and China as important--or in Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine--and when Trump doesn't seem to see due process for the deportation of illegal immigrants as important, he loses the moral credibility he needs to push for things like religious freedom anywhere.
