NewAvoiding Debt

Wed, 05/23/12
I think the biblical principle is that no church should go into debt to fund anything. Proverbs 22:7 and Romans 13:8 are some examples of verses warning us of debt. Our church expanded, renovated the lobby and auditorium areas and upgraded the HVAC system by saving up until we had enough money to do it. God can provide the money without debt.

Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. ~ Eph. 5:15-17
