Is Satan The ‘God of This World’?
He is the god of this world order for the present time…. so world/cosmos and age/aionos are not all that different in meaning. But the author is correct that this is not an argument for passivity toward society and culture. (In USA, and to some extent all western nations, citizens have governing responsibility. “The powers that be” includes us and we have a duty to be informed and involved.)
