Vatican: Get time off in purgatory by following Pope on Twitter

While this article shines a lot on the bankruptcy of the RCC, it is from FOUR years ago.

….would that mean that Twitter is a sacrament? :^) What about Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Ravelry, Instagram, and SharperIron? If we get a new commenter speaking very well of works salvation named “Pontificus Maximus,” we will know exactly what happened!

And DL, BOO on you for ruining the fun by pointing out it’s from a long time ago! :^) (sorry, just couldn’t resist, that “dislike” was just for fun, brother)

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

Saint Clare is the patron saint of television. The RCC declared that watching mass was meritorious for people who were physically unable to attend through her graces. (She had been granted a vision of the mass when she was ill.) The church had to amend their decision to state that recording mass and watching it repeatedly didn’t count. Maybe Clare can find new work as the patron saint of Twitter.
