If Mr. Brune believes that too many people are a problem, he could lead by example instead of victimizing those who have yet to draw a breath.
For the record, he earned $229,000 last year, which I would suppose corresponds to a significant environmental impact due to what he purchases, and he’s got three children. More than replacement, that’s for sure. He also has a fairly hefty fee for speaking, and I wonder if he’s bicycling to his speaking engagements….read further on the Sierra Club site to learn about his trip across the mountain west in a minivan to complain about oil wells, and a colleague of his took a similar trip towing an Airstream.
Hey, I don’t begrudge then what they’ve got, but the hypocrisy is just breathtaking.

“Soylent Green is PEOPLE! … .”
Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.
….but there is a “Soylent” company making foods out there. Yes, they use algae in some of it, so you could call it…..
…and it turns out they’ve made people sick. Surprise, surprise….I get kinda woozy just thinking about it. Just the thing for your Malthusian-minded Sierra Club executive to eat, i guess.
