Suggested gift for a pastor you want to irritate
Thanks a lot Jim. Most of us don’t need that much irritation.
Robert P. Pruitt
Please, do we need Dave Hyles to lecture us on anything? He has more than earned the obligation to remain silent, and we don’t need any instructions from his father. Wherever he is now, I’m sure he will need to stay silent for at least a thousand years.
I’d be afraid to give this to a pastor simply because I’d be afraid he might take it seriously.
And what does it take before Gray will show a friend the door in terms of ministry or publishing? Apparently serial adultery by David Hyles or repeated incidents of child molestation do not suffice. Maybe….if he decided to move away from the KJVO position?
Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
I would hope the book is written more clearly than the web page linked in the OP promoting the book. Some of the sentences are so convoluted I can’t hardly make sense of them.

Actually Greg, let’s hope it is written as clearly as the site!!!!
I nominate Greg Long to buy the book and do a book review.
Show of hands?
Since we’re talking about Hyles (or is that “Heils”?), this “show of hands” may be more apt (I’ll just post a link, rather than embed it):
To quote the late Billy Sunday after listening to a very long invocation at one his revival meetings: “Shall we puke?”
