Our goal is to show the public that it is possible to be stylish, cute, and MODEST!
I saw this website (pure fashion) a few years ago, and I appreciate what they are trying to do. It may be a hopeless battle- these girls readily admit they are trying to draw the attention of men- but maybe some of them will understand that that kind of attention is not what they really want in their heart of hearts, and those few are worth it.
I’ll help you out Susan, you posted it a while ago: http://20.sharperiron.org/showthread.php?t=6685&highlight=pure+fashion
My comment is in reference to the Nightline video posted in the OP. I don’t know how to feel about girls who openly admit they want men to look at their bodies- I am sure they are thinking about boys their age, but it creeps me out that they aren’t considering that there are just as many dirty old men ogling them as there are ‘cute guys’.
I’ve seen somewhat of a paradigm shift taking place, what with popular books by http://blogs.modestlyyours.net/modestly_yours/wendy_shalit/index.html Wendy Shalit and http://www.amazon.com/Unprotected-Miriam-Grossman/dp/1595230459/ref=cm_…] Miriam Grossman creating an awakening (I hope) to the real physical and mental dangers of treating sexuality as frivolous. I hope it gathers momentum.

Sorry, I meant that you had posted about that same site a few years back.
