Discussion

I was surprised at some of the signers.

I have no problem with the core of the document, but I would have a problem with applying the name “Christian” to so many eras and parts of Roman Catholic history — not to mention the denomination as it stands today.

I realize that the name “Christian” can be used in the historical/demographic sense (as opposed to Muslim, Jew, Hindu, etc.), but I still wouldn’t want any confusion about whether I was calling all of those groups on the document “Christians”.

Can I sign a less-ecumenical version please?
