On "Storm Theologians"

Luke 13:1-5 is the theology of storms/natural disasters and falling towers. They happen to all people who live in this sinful world; God’s use of them is morally indiscriminate. They are intended to foster repentance and faith in view of such impending catastrophes that could suddenly seal one’s eternal doom. Only by special revelation or biblical prophetism can anyone attach these events to someone’s, or some group’s, specific sins. Since the Bible is cessationist as to continuing, ongoing revelation and teaches a closed canon for this age, prognostications of alleged specific reasons for these calamities are baseless.
