On “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day": "Marching on Chick-fil-A tomorrow like an army will produce nothing more than defined battle lines"

There are several reasons I will go to Chick-Fil-A tomorrow, not the least of which is the absolutely perfectest chicken sandwich ever, and waffle fries. But I will be there to support free speech and religious liberty, not ‘march’ against gay marriage or homosexuality. City officials need to know that they are going to feel some repercussions if they deny a permit to a franchise because the owner expressed their religious beliefs.

We have 2 Chick-Fil-A’s within a couple of miles of our house. Perhaps I should go to both…. Yes, definitely- I think I need to support both locations. It just wouldn’t be fair otherwise.

owner can say with Liberace “I’m crying all the way to the bank.”

Hoping to shed more light than heat..

Chicken nuggets, Chick Fil A sauce .. 1/2 and 1/2 unsweet tea/lemonade ..

Son will get a Spicy Chicken and water ..

I think it’s a good idea - this whole thing started w/a boycott .. an this is a positive way to show disagreement with the Mayors who think somehow it is a good thing to make a personal opinion of a CEA (that I happen to agree with ) into politics ..

I will take my wife to Chick-fil-A tomorrow (her first time), not to raise a fist against homosexuals, but to stand against liberal fascism, and to stand up for freedom of thought. The use of homosexual “rights” to crush religious freedom and the right to think for oneself is absolutely frightening.

If you don’t like the food don’t make yourself go….I will gladly go a second time today on your behalf.

Chik-fil-a’s all over the country are reportedly full, sometimes running out of food because of the number of customers.

Why is it that my voice always seems to be loudest when I am saying the dumbest things?

around ours wraps around the building twice, and it’s been like that since they opened today. I don’t even want to know what it looks like at the mall food court.

Only a 35 minute wait today at Chick-fil-A with the line out the door about 150’ and so many cars in the drive through they were beyond view. Good spirits in line, lots of smiles, warm greetings, young families, bemused employees. Didn’t see any “hate.”

The spicy chicken sandwich wasn’t bad at all.

That was similar to what I saw when we went after church/fellowship. Got there at about 9:00 p.m. or so, and the line was still probably a good 20-25 minutes long for the next half-hour. They actually ran out of a number of things, but everyone seemed accepting of that, and there were pretty much good feelings all around among everyone I saw there, including those who clearly were not part of any church group.Glad I waited until last night though…
