Ky. Baptist church ordains openly gay man

Highland Baptist Church on Sunday ordained Maurice “Bojangles” Blanchard, a local gay-rights advocate who started the church’s gay and lesbian outreach group last year. Blanchard is studying ministry at the Louisville Seminary.
