I voted other.

I would have liked to see an option that some of God’s people were indwelt in the OT, as compared with all believers being indwelt in the present age.

Why is it that my voice always seems to be loudest when I am saying the dumbest things?

My understanding is that in the OT there were times when the Holy Spirit temporarily came up specific people for specific purposes, but that the actual permanent indellling of believers began at Penetecost.

I only recently was told I was wrong, that believers always received the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and that all the disciples were already indwelled by the Spirit long before Pentecost.

Are you saying that a small number of OT saints received the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit?

If that is true, that still leaves the question of when the Holy Spiritt began to indwell all believers - Pentecost, or some other time?

I view Pentecost as a movement of the Spirit’s power. I don’t think he left them comfortless after his resurrection.
