My Book "The Midrash Key" Now Also Available as a Kindle download!

I finally have my book online as a Kindle download for those of you overseas who found shipping from Amazon cost prohibitive — or for those of you who simply want a Kindle version. The Kindle version is under five bucks— what a deal!

Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Midrash-Key-Pinpointing-Testament-Preached/dp/145…: http://www.amazon.com/Midrash-Key-Pinpointing-Testament-Preached/dp/145…
“The Midrash Key” is based on the premise that many of Jesus’ words are excerpts from sermons he preached based upon Old Testament texts. He used an ancient style of Jewish preaching called “Midrash.” By locating the “mother texts” Jesus used in the Old Testament — and then factoring in the Jewish debates of the day (as seen in the Talmud, for example) — we can increase the CONTEXT of Jesus’ words and fine-tune our understanding. “The Midrash Key” does so reverently (from an evangelical perspective). Understand Jesus like never before! Written in a style with the serious layman or pastor in mind, academics should also enjoy the book.

Yay! I just bought this. I’d been looking at it since you first announced its availability on Amazon, but since I really don’t need yet another book cluttering my already way overfilled bookshelves, I’ve held off. I’ve been working really hard at not buying anything in hard form any longer, but sometimes it’s harder than it seems it should be. Price isn’t really the object (though I’m glad I don’t have to pay for paper, ink, higher delivery costs, etc.) — convenience is. I can have a lot of books with me all the time in Kindle format, and the ones I haven’t synced take only a few seconds if I would want them on my phone.

Thanks for making it available in Kindle form.
