Clark Pinnock Dies at 73

God isn’t surprised but Pinnock might have been now that he’s in eternity.

"Our task today is to tell people — who no longer know what sin is...no longer see themselves as sinners, and no longer have room for these categories — that Christ died for sins of which they do not think they’re guilty." - David Wells

Interesting perspective. Clark Pinnock was a scholar and a thinker; he also demonstrates how thinking and scholarship apart from a doctrinal mooring can make one tossed to and fro. The US economy has survived well after leaving the Gold Standard under Roosevelt, but once evangelicals or fundamentalists leave (or ignore, which is more common) an infallible Bible, they are without foundation.
