Splinter, Split, or Stay in the Fight?

I guess I am more of a fundamentalist at heart. If I were part of denomination that did not stand against gay marriage, for example, I would leave it.  The fact a denomination gets itself in such a predicament suggests too much tolerance and accommodation.  It is one thing to allow for disagreements on things we believe are not abundantly clear in Scripture. Once we open the door to ordaining women or countenancing same sex relationships, it is time to leave.  We don't have to be militant or nasty about it, but truth matters.
