“... a new network has formed to emphasize evangelism and the sufficiency of Scripture within the Southern Baptist Convention”
“We are concerned about the current road our Southern Baptist family is traveling. It is a road that is twisting what God’s Word is saying about things like human sexuality, biblical racial reconciliation, and socialistic justice,” said Brad Jurkovich, the network spokesman. - Christian Post

Despite what anyone else says, this looks like an organization that is intent on breaking from the SBC and into a more conservative faction. Paige Patterson loyalists like Timothy Pigg and Scott / Shariyah Colter are principals. The website is fine, but the press release has a completely different tenor and attitude.
"Our task today is to tell people — who no longer know what sin is...no longer see themselves as sinners, and no longer have room for these categories — that Christ died for sins of which they do not think they’re guilty." - David Wells
One thing that’s particularly ominous here is the press release’s attack on “social justice” and the like without a real understanding of the issues involved—just a blanket condemnation. The SBC needs to be at the table discussing issues, and these guys want to drag them into muddy trenches to launch a fight. Not a good look for them.
Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
It is my understanding that one of the problematic social issues is an endorsement of the “Gay Christian” movement. I hope I’m wrong, but that’s what I’m seeing on various blogs. If that’s the case, I don’t know how much “understanding of the issues involved” is warranted. The SBC needs to either stand with Scripture in condemning the acceptance of homosexuality in the church, or compromise with the tidal wave of mandated endorsement which is seeking to bury all Christians and churches who refuse to depart from Biblical teaching.

GN,
Where are you seeing this at? i follow this pretty closely and haven’t seen that at all, except for Karen Swallow Prior and Revoice, which turned out to be nothing after Karen defended herself against Ascol and the others. Several SBC people also weighed in to defend her as well.

The latest one is: “thirtypiecesofsilverdotorg” If they are mistaken, I will be relieved!
