Regional Accreditation

“Fallacies of a Master’s Level Education: Almost every seminary is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). If a seminary is ATS accredited, it must meet the ATS criteria. This is problematic in itself (ATS is ecumenical and liberal in its core).

BJU accreditation was officially announced today at the SACSCOC Annual meeting in Dallas, Texas.

The Board of Trustees of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) today granted Bob Jones University membership as an accredited institution. “Being granted regional accreditation is one of the biggest milestones in Bob Jones University’s 90-year history,” says BJU President Steve Pettit.
