An Episcopalian Reconsiders the Fundamentalist Label

Fundamentalism
From Drell’s Descants:
“Years ago, I would have bristled at being called a fundamentalist. But, after reading the fundamentals, looking at the original fundamentalists, and ministering in prison with people your average Episcopalian would call fundamentalists, I realize I am one of them without being yoked to the homophobic mysogonistic scientifically ignorant folks in Christianity. But, I discovered that there really aren’t to many of those in Christianity, other than certain snake handlers in West Virginia. Your average Baptist, A of G, staunch Roman Catholic, or non-denominational Christian isn’t any of those things. They are just Christians.”
