Wednesday evening Session

Last night we had the opportunity to hear Pastor Rick Arrowood. Pastor Arrowood is the pastor of Crosspointe Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He preached from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. He used this passage to describe the comfort that believers posess in the rapture. This service was by far the most attended service of the whole conference as it formed the Wednesday service for plenty of the area churches.

I was a few minutes late in arriving to the church and I think that I found the last parking spot left. The auditorium seemed quite full on the lower level so I sat with about 150 other people in the balcony. There may have been somewhere around 700-800 people there. Overall, the entire night was very enjoyable. The music service and entire order of service were quite enjoyable. Now having completed 2 days at this conference, I would have to say that one of the strengths of the conference is the fellowship that the pastors and various ministers enjoy. After the service there were many people who remained in the foyer to talk and fellowship. I actually ended up leaving after 10 pm and there were still probably 75 to 100 people there. If you have never attended an FBFI Annual conference, you might want to consider going next year. I will give a final synopsis of the conference later this morning.
