Projector advice wanted

We are a small church with no power point or video projector. I would love to have this resource but of course there is a the cost factor. I recently found this product: Portable Multimedia Pocket Mini Projector. It only gives a 54” picture, but for a small group I think we could make it work. They have sold on E-bay for around $60 including shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Portable-Multimedia-Pocket-Mini-Projector-P… I am not a tech guy so I do not know for sure what I am dealing with. Does anyone have any experience with such a product and do you think it would work for us.

I realized after I posted that it only has 6 lumens and some of the bigger ones have 2000 lumens. I’m wondering if we would have to use it in the middle of the night to make it show up enought to work. I’d want us to have enought lights on to take notes at least.
I would hold off on buying that projector. Now adays you can find a decent projector for around $350 at most electronic outlets. Some even have a built in DVD player and speakers.
Those cheap, pocket size projectors are not good enough for regular use. If you are going to use a projector at church, you want to invest in one that will last you a couple of years without any problems. Better to save money for a good one, than to buy a cheap one, and then regret it later on.
