Not sure who is responsible…just wanted to say thanks for the scriptures that are now in the right side bar. I appreciate it. Needful.

It’s kind of a dream of mine. What I’d really like to see is verses appearing between posts at random. There’s a way to do this but the random part is tricky. So, for now they’re in a sidebar. More verses coming soon. Proverbs has so many!

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.

I like the “in between posts” idea…wonderful! Let the Holy Spirit do the moderating. ;)

It’s too bad there is not a program that could discern the tone and content of a previous post, and then insert the appropriate verse in response before the next post popped up.

For instance: I would expect such a program to insert Proverbs 17:28 after nearly every post I have written! :D

“Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.”

Software that can reliably detect tone… that would be quite a trick. And then preach at you for it…. even better. A digital conscience.

When I was Minister of Music, I tried to make sure that I did not use the same congregational songs every week. The end result was a spreadsheet/matrix that (for all practical purposes) planned out my congregational song choices 2 years in advance! :o

It was amazing, and such a blessing, to see how many times the song(s) chosen *months* in advance matched perfectly with the message of the morning.

God is in control!!!

Karl, can I get a copy of that spreadsheet? Please?
