So those are my games. I remember playing Careers for hours with my younger brother when I was growing up. There was one day when we played eight games of it in a row.

I realized how old some of my games are when I saw this statement in the instruction sheet for one of them: " If you have any questions about this game, write to Parker Brother's, but be sure to include a 3c stamped return envelope."

Do I have anybody's favorite game in my list?

My wife LOVES Mancala, probably because I'm terrible at it. Every once in a while I indulge her and get pummelled.

My all time favorite, probably, is Axis and Allies, but I don't actually own the set.  I had an electronic edition for the computer that I used to play, but I think the disc got chipped or cracked or something and I had to throw it away.  I'm hoping that they will remake it at some point, but that looks unlikely.

"Our task today is to tell people — who no longer know what sin is...no longer see themselves as sinners, and no longer have room for these categories — that Christ died for sins of which they do not think they’re guilty." - David Wells
