Bible interpretation

Based on my studies over the past decade or so, I believe that a pressing need exists for Christians to be discipled toward biblical demonology more accurately. In this thread, I plan to treat many passages to show how they teach us truths toward that end.

Foundational to such discipleship is a careful examination of the first instance of demonic activity in affecting humans to sin against God:

I have been studying Romans 14 a lot lately. In this thread, I am interested in intensively exegetical and theological discussion about what Romans 14 teaches about foods, days, and worship music.

Paul begins his teaching by saying the following:

Romans 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

In my comments in a previous thread that I did not start, "On Bible Interpretation, Evidence, and Music," I provided evidence from Scripture that important doctrinal information concerning sound demonology is found in the details of some passages, especially narratives, that many believers likely have not profited from as they should have.
