Does Old-Earth Creationism Undermine the Gospel? A Response to Kevin Bauder

On Advice from Others I am ending my participation in this thread. Apparently a good number of people consider me a joke, which I just learned from various Personal messages over the Phil Johnson interaction at another thread.
Let me end by noting time dilation, in and of itself, is not a “theory”. It is real. It is observed all the time There is nothing hypothetical about it
I am just tidying some things up as I leave.
I NEVER SAID time dilation is THE ANSWER. I said it is a POSSIBLE ANSWER. I never said appearance of age was impossible. I said it was the least palatable.
I was trying to get Chip to admit somethings by going hard on observation…but he never did. That is why I emphasized observation.
Time dilation is in fact an observed phenomenon. It is real. Clocks on Satellites in orbit tick slightly faster than those on earth, for example.
Grace and peace to you all.
No I don’t think you are a joke.
You are correct time dilation is real. I used it extensively while working at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. We had to use it in our calculations. I should have clarified it better. Time dilation as an explanation of the expansion of the universe is a theory.
