NewPerhaps a different name?

If the “new Reformation” is substituting the word of man for the Word of God as its authority, perhaps we ought to call it a “Deformation” instead. Or, historically speaking, we might call it a “Counter-Reformation”, but that name is taken by another movement to substitute the word of man for the Word of God.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
