NewDid "the Bee" go too far?

While the Babylon Bee does not allow comments on its website, many have taken to the outlet’s Facebook page to remark that they did not find Ford’s article funny.

“Really? This is disgusting. Even if I didn’t agree with them, satire over death is something that we as purported Christians should be above,” one commenter wrote.

“Critique her theology, fine (in fact, it should be correct because it does cause serious damage). But don’t attack the person or speak ill of someone who just died and whose family is dealing with the loss,” another stated. “Have a soul, goodness gracious.”

“This was a human being and to make fun of her death is beyond despicable,” a third remarked. “I wasn’t a fan of her or her ministry but to make fun of anyone’s death—I’m at a loss for words. … No Christian would do something like this. Good bye.”
