You know and I know that the Pope is speaking of Islamic fundamentalism … but the term fundamentalism in the non-Christian community does not mean what we say in our inner circle.

Per Jim’s comment, it strikes me that the Pope would do well to explain what he means by deviant forms of religion. I, of course, would suggest that any form of religion involving Muhammad or a Bishop of Rome is deviant, but I doubt Francis is referring to that.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
