"A statement that would accurately reflect the beliefs of the majority of Southern Baptists, who are not Calvinists"
A classic Free Will Baptist statement on soteriology. God is sovereign, they attempt to affirm, but his sovereignty is limited by man’s sovereign choice (what they delineate as free will).

As a younger believer, I would have agreed with this statement. It certainly produces more zeal and less snobbery. Still, I believe the Scriptures teach otherwise; I do not like to call myself a Calvinist for a lot of reasons, but I do believe in unconditional election, so that puts me at least on the outskirts of Calvinism.
