It’s a battle of biblical proportions. Software-maker Blizzard Entertainment released its hotly anticipated role-playing game Diablo III “from the Burning Hells” on Tuesday — and “it’s a bad day for demons,” the company said. At the same time, Lightside Games announced the release of “Journey of Jesus: The Calling,” which it called the first-ever video game based on the life of Jesus.

My own company does video game marketing for a major video game manufacturer. One game is yet to be released, but has to do with hell. I was in a meeting recently where the artists discussed how the hell on earth theme influenced their art. Pray for me as I seek opportunities to witness to my fellow coworkers using these themes.
