Always glad to hear the nation’s largest evangelical voice trumpet the Gospel of Jesus Christ to 30,000 in the seats and untold thousands via C-Span. Of course, that practically never happens at a Liberty commencement, but some deity usually gets an honorable mention, so I guess that will have to do.

Vote Republican. It is as needed as the Gospel, evidently.

I don’t think it is fair to criticize Liberty for inviting Romney. Universities often invite prominent people at their commencements without necessarily endorsing everything they believe. I don’t see that Christian universities should be that different, as long as the message delivered isn’t overtly in conflict with Christian beliefs. However, I would have hoped that they use the opportunity to at least briefly express the gospel.

But the invitation isn’t without controversy. As this video shows :) :
