Liberty's Freedom Tower opens
I always loved to climb church towers when I was in Europe, and one of the highlights was to see the red tile roofs on the buildings below. Somehow the flat roofs at Liberty don’t exactly make the same impression!
And I hate to say it, but it might have helped if they’d “wasted” a bit more money on architects. There are beautiful tall towers out there, and I’ve walked up a lot of them, but sorry…..the overall impression is if I spent an afternoon with my sons and their Legos.
Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
The article said they have had a recent $500 million dollar expansion. Does anyone know how they afforded this?
