Keeping Christianity weird: Why the Nashville Statement matters

Maybe, just maybe, a new kind of Christianity is being birthed before our eyes, and those of us who have been so hurt by those bearing Jesus’ name might once again find hope, healing and a deep sense of family as we step into our rightful place in the Church.

Certainly a new kind of Christianity - a false one. It’s interesting that no Scriptiure was included in his article.

This issue is the dividing line in our contemporary culture. Liberalism is alive and well, and Machen was right. Those advocating for a “progressive Christianity” which “affirms’ unrepentant homosexuality, transgender identity and denies the need to mortify the sins of the flesh is not Christianity It’s aniother religion entirely, even if it does retain some of the same vocabulary.
