Liberty Baptist Seminary’s Enrollment of Homosexual Activist Called Into Question

This guy is not only a homosexual, he is also a liar. Because of the nature of their sin many homosexuals become skilled liars. I have my differences with the counseling philosophy at Liberty but no counselor there told him to “like [himself] and find peace with the real Brandon.” He heard that from Oprah. Nothing he says in his “essay” is to be believed.

Is the guy training to be a pastor? If not, wouldn’t he benefit from theological training?

Either way, I don’t take Liberty too seriously after the Caner debacle..

It would be hard for me to take Liberty seriously regarding any sense of Biblical authority if they knowingly accepted a practicing homosexual into their training program, especially ministry.

Scripture is pretty clear: “But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat (I Cor. 5:11).” I’m pretty sure that providing a classroom education falls under the category “to keep company.”

If they have knowingly done so, someone in the right position needs to hold them accountable. If not, this little episode needs to be quelled right away.
