FBFI Meeting

Will anyone will be attending the FBFI meeting in Illinois on the 16th through 18th? I think Lou said he’s planning on it, but I’m curious to see how many others will be there. I was also wondering if the sessions will be available for download as MP3s for those of us who can’t make it.

I want to go. I live close (less than 100 miles) but I am taking the teens to camp that week.

I will be there and liveblogging for SI.

I’m going too. I’ll be “assisting” Greg in liveblogging for SI.

I would be there but our local water board is having a meeting and that will have far more influence out here than the FBFI.
Bob,
I thought water boarding is now illegal…
Re: the OP,
I’m planning to go.
I will not be live blogging. :)

1. Lou Martuneac interaction with Kevin Bauder.
2. If Kevin Bauder speaks as scheduled (I think it’s probable).
3. Assuming he remains on the docket, Bauder’s choice of issues during his message.
4. Some old friends.
5. Other SI members and bloggers.
6. If Greg Linscott’s eyebrow is permanently raised, or if he just does that for effect.

It actually is raised- for now, anyway. It is a result of my http://picasaweb.google.com/linscotts/AccidentAndRecovery#] scooter accident last August.

In light of the recent controversy this is one meeting I don’t want to miss. I am looking forward to Kevin Bauder’s message and the session on Conservative Evangelicals should be interesting.
Greg, can you liveblog the Bauder - Martuneac discussion? That would be interesting…
Personally, I’m really looking forward to Bauder’s message. I really hope that he continues to address the whole Sweatt issue head on from the platform of the FBFI because he might be the only one who could say something publicly and have them listen. I doubt the FBFI leadership really cares about the talk on SharperIron all that much.
Al, I’m also really looking forward to the session on Conservative Evangelicalism as well. People have touched lightly on the subject, but to hear them directly addressed by Fundy leadership [especially in light of the concern over losing the YF’s] should be interesting.

We’ll may mention something if we see a conversation, but neither one of us is planning on interviewing Lou to find out what what was said :D
