Suspect in Norway bombing a "reported Christian fundamentalist"

This quote is chilling
After the disruption caused in the French and Danish (I think) riots a few years back, I just assumed the immigration numbers were much higher. To think that this small a population could create such an uproar is startling. FWIW, Wikipedia says the Muslim population in the U.S. was only 0.8% of the population in 2009. But, still.
It found Muslims will be more than one-quarter of the Earth’s population by 2030 — but only 8% of the population in Europe and 6.5% of the population in Norway.

Why is it that my voice always seems to be loudest when I am saying the dumbest things?
I thought the claim he was a fundamentalist Christian was highly doubtful the first time I saw it,
but when I read the link to the NY Times this morning from Drudge,

my suspicions were confirmed,
A little test for all you fellow fundamentalist wacko’s like me out there,
if you are listing philosophers who influence your thinking would it include any of these,
NOT SO MUCH!!

“A Facebook page and Twitter account were set up under his name days before the rampage. The Facebook page cites philosophers like Machiavelli, Kant and John Stuart Mill. “That’s the one’s I list, you too, right?
NOT SO MUCH!!
” http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/186020/20110725/anders-breivik-manifesto-shooter-bomber-downplayed-religion-secular-influence-key.htm ] If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God then you are a religious Christian. Myself and many more like me do not necessarily have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God. We do however believe in Christianity as a cultural, social, identity and moral platform. This makes us Christian … I’m not going to pretend I’m a very religious person as that would be a lie. I’ve always been very pragmatic and influenced by my secular surroundings and environment…. Religion is a crutch for many weak people and many embrace religion for self serving reasons as a source for drawing mental strength ,” he wrote.
That’s just great! As it turns out, it’s Islamic Fundamentalists and Secular Humanist Fundamentalists who terrorize western nations and NOT Christian Fundamentalists. Guess it’s kinda embarrassing, but will the Christianophobic media now start going after their own kind?

Mollie Ziegler over at Get Religion points out the following:
Meanwhile, the deputy police chief announced that the shooter was a “Christian fundamentalist” but no one has reported either the evidence for the claim or how the police determined that. Whatever the case, he may be the only Freemason, Rome-leaning, Protestant fundamentalist in the world.
Mollie’s piece is an interesting read to counter the “facts lite” headlines that spilled out after the shooter was identified as a blond, white Norwegian and not an Islamic Terrorist.

Full disclosure: I am a third generation 3/4 Norwegian (1/4 Swede). My grandmother would have had some choice words for this type of individual. She would have chased him with her purse swinging, just like she did to hoodlums in pre and post WWII Chicago. Not sure there are many Natalie Leir’s in today’s gentler Norway. Grandma loved people, but she would not abide foolishness.

Secularism must be the Religion of Peace, as http://www.unscrewingtheinscrutable.com//node/1532?q=log/node/1532&q=no…] Secularist Norway was rated the “most peaceful” nation in the world .
“Yay secularism!” gloateth Secularist blogger Brent Rasmussen.
This just 3.5 years prior to confessed Secularist Breivik’s unpeaceful rampage.
