My husband was commenting the other day about how obsessed the guys at work (which is very much a Joe Sixpack blue collar outfit) are with Food Network, HGTV, and DIY channels. If we aren’t busy ourselves, at least we are watching other people be busy. :)
My dh and I often have talks about what we are busy doing and why- we try to live our lives with God-honoring purpose, but it is very easy to just be compulsively active without actually accomplishing anything meaningful.
